Cultural Awareness Training Programs

In addition to providing logistical support for international trainees working for companies in the oil & gas industry, LSI offers a wide array of cultural awareness training programs. Our programs are aimed at increasing the ability of employees working in a global environment to perform productively within their multinational organization.

LSI’s cross-cultural programs are designed to help participants understand key cultural differences in various areas, such as: communication and cognitive styles, concepts of time and punctuality, negotiation strategies, and behavioral differences. All programs are highly interactive, practical, and project-based. Results are geared towards improving individual and team productivity as participants learn to utilize and balance cultural differences for better project management, teamwork, and communication.

Customized Training


In addition to our standard training models, LSI is able to provide customized presentations on any cultural awareness topic of interest to our clients. Presentation outlines can be pre-approved by the client prior to the training date. Our Training Philosophy LSI believes cultural awareness training should be:
  • Cost effective, while still offering experienced trainers, quality materials, and appropriate technology.
  • Tailored to meet the client’s requirements. LSI develops its training programs based on a needs assessment of the participants and designs the delivery with these parameters in mind. Diversity-focused to address the various learning styles and cultural nuances among participants.
